Whether you’re looking for a fun social event for your weekend, a way to donate to worthwhile charitable organizations, or a Valentine’s-themed way to spend time the weekend before Valentine’s Day, there’s one event you’ll want to attend this weekend: Joining Hearts’ seventh annual Love on the Rocks cocktail party, being held this Sunday, Feb. 9, from 6–9 p.m. This annual Valentine’s-themed tradition is one of the biggest social events of the season for Atlanta, and this year’s event promises to be bigger than ever.

Being held this year in the furniture showroom of Cantoni, on Monroe Dr. near 10^th St., Love on the Rocks offers an opportunity for supporters of Joining Hearts to mingle over complimentary drinks from Ketel One and hors d’oeuvres by Bridge Catering. The evening also includes music from DJ Scott Anthony.

Guests can also participate in a silent auction that includes vacation packages, home décor items, artwork, wine baskets, salon services and date night packages. Proceeds from the auction benefit AID Atlanta and Jerusalem House, the two organizations supported by Joining Hearts in all of their fundraising efforts.

For guests who are feeling particularly generous, VIP admission is also available. Included with VIP admission are an exclusive bar with expanded beverage choices, plus a private seating area with restricted access.

And while the event may end at 9 p.m., the night itself doesn’t end there. Ten Atlanta is hosting a special party after Love on the Rocks ends from 9 p.m. until midnight. During the event, 10% of all sales will be donated to Joining Hearts. Guests will also receive a special “Heartthrob” shot when they show their wristband from Love on the Rocks.
