Charlie Harding knows a thing or two about sexy men, and he’s bringing them to Atlantans on a weekly basis.

The adult film actor and Atlanta resident recently teamed up with Blake’s for Charlie Harding’s Hard Bodies Party, a new event going on every Wednesday night. Each show brings Charlie together with a group of diverse, sexy dancers, all for the entertainment of the bar’s crowd that night.

David Atlanta recently caught up with Charlie to discuss his Hard Bodies party, as well as what else he’s been up to recently.

How did Charlie Harding’s Hard Bodies Party come about?

Well, I’ve been a go-go dancer off and on for years. In fact, I used to own a touring group of male go-go dancers and strippers. We traveled around the Southeast performing at various clubs and events. Since moving to Atlanta, I’ve been looking for fun opportunities to throw events and host parties, and Alan at Blake’s and I got to talking. We wanted to create a night that was a casual, fun and energetic experience for everybody involved that had a bit of a sexual edge! I mean, who doesn’t like drink specials by Tanqueray, Ketel One and Crown Royal, plus sexy boys dancing and some silly fun party games [such as] “Get to know your go-go!” where we ask the dancers dirty questions from the audience. It’s hilarious and scandalous!

How do you select the dancers for the show?

Given my background in the adult film industry, I first reached out to my other guys in the area that work in that industry. I also had some contacts and friends that danced at clubs in Atlanta as strippers or go-go dancers and also had some buddies that do go-go cam shows. From there I’ve also auditioned folks that want to be a part.

What are you looking for in a dancer for the show?

I like to have a very diverse group of dancers. We have everything from young looking twinks to muscle bears, and we rotate them through, so each week is a different mix. Anybody who’s been to the party will agree that there’s always eye candy for everyone. Beyond a sexy body and a great smile, I look for folks who have rhythm and can dance, who are outgoing, enjoy talking to people and being social and just wanna have fun! What can audiences expect at a Hard Bodies Party?

At my party each Wednesday you can expect sexy dancers, great drinks, your favorite bartenders, an awesome DJ playing super-fun music and the most random group of awesome Blake’s patrons all out having a great time! Aside from the Hard Bodies Party, what else do you have going on in your life, both personally and professionally?

Well, I’m one of those guys who tries to do it all, and always has a million things going. At some point in the coming months, Scotty and I have our big gay wedding! We also just did a very personal and hopefully conversation starting interview and article for Manhattan Digest.

My fiancé, Scotty Rage, and I have also launched RAGE T’s. It’s a line of one-of-a-kind artistic clothing. Right now we’re focusing on customized T-shirts, with gym shorts and sweat shirts coming soon to charlesworld.com.
